V. Ellegoda with a top score of 67 and D. Kadawathaarachchi 58 were the heroes for CCC SC in their 73 run win over the visiting Moreton CA, Australia in an Under-15 limited over fixture played at Maithland Crescent recently.

Janith Dias also came up with a useful double of 29 runs and four wickets for 29 runs.
In the visitor’s reply of 173, the main contributors were Chris Evans with 33 and Lim., Lunt 31.

Ellegoda and Danush Peiris the match winners for CCC SC U-17
Vimukthi Ellegoda continued his cracking for to top score with 63 runs, while Danush Peiris came up with a fine double of four wickets for 26 runs and 29 runs to enable the CCC SC Under-17 team to beat the the Hampton CC, England tourists by four wickets in a 40 over fixture at Reid Avenue recently.
