Thilina and Thilan put SSC on top

Thilina Kandamby and Thilan Samaraweera cracked tons to put SSC on top against Colts on day two in their Premier Tier ‘A’ cricket encounter played at the Colts ground. The pair put on a valuable stand of 160 runs for the fourth wicket helping SSC resuming from their overnight score of 237 for 7 went on to make a formidable score of 401. Thilina cracked 124 with seven boundaries and four sixes while Thilan made 102 inclusive of nine boundaries.

Nadeera Nawela’s knock of 117 with eight boundaries and four sixes and half tons by Chamara Silva and Chinthaka Jayasinghe saw Bloomfield

Lankan CC was struggling against Moors when play stopped on day two in their match played at Braybrooke Place. Lankan CC resuming on their overnight score of 35 for 1 were bowled out for 198 in reply to Moors score of 304.

Ragama CC have already obtained a first inning lead over NCC in the match played at the NCC ground.
Chilaw Marians dominated against Tamil Union in the match played at the P. Sara Stadium. Chilaw Marians taking first lease of the wicket made 373 and then bowled out Tamil Union for 285.

Saracens SC recorded a stunning one wicket win over fancied Navy with a day to spare in their Premier Tier ‘B’ encounter concluded at Welisara yesterday.
CCC registered a first inning win over Panadura in a high scoring match concluded at the CCC ground yesterday. CCC resuming on their overnight score of 301 for 6 went on to make a formidable score of 379 in reply Panadura’s 330.

Half tons by Asela Gunaratne, Roshan Jayatissa and Rishan Kavinga saw Army coming out on top against Air Force in the match played at Panagoda.
