The Colombo YMBA organized popular all island drama competition is scheduled to be held for the 31st consecutive year. Closing date for applications from Government Schools and Dhamma Schools for the participation at this annual drama competition has now been extended until, 26th March 2012. This drama competition organized by the Colombo YMBA is based on Jathaka Stories. Large numbers of Schools are expected to participate at this year’s competition too from very remote Schools as well as popular Schools from the Urban areas.
There will be cash awards amounting to over Rs 125,000/= awarded to the Best School, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Producer etc. All participants should be within the age limit of 6 – 18 years.
