Smooth Transition by Ironone's ATRAD online with the CSE

When the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) upgraded its Automated Trading System (ATS) with Version 7 on the 24th of February, IronOne Technologies was at hand to ensure that the online traders were not out in the cold, according to Lakmini Wijesundera, CEO, Asia Pacific Ironone Technologies.

"With a simultaneous launch at all 15 brokerage houses where ATRAD, Ironone's system is currently in use, IronOne transited to its upgrade FIX 5.0/FAST Protocol," she told the Business Times, adding that with this upgrade the clients using the system can continue to trade the way they were.

She said that Ironone Technologies provides software solutions such as online trading, broker back office and margin solutions. She added that with ATRAD's web based access clients can access the system quickly without additional setting up which also contributed to a smooth upgrade. "
