Double Decker fun for Old Thomians’

The popular OTSC Tent will be one of the main feature for the 6th successive year at the 133th Battle of the Blues- Royal Thomians’ Cricket encounter at the SLC Grand Stand upper floor at the picturesque SSC Grounds on 8th, 9th and 10th March.

Old Thomians’ Sports Club Tent is 2nd oldest tent after the infamous Mastangs’ Tent at the Royal Thomian Cricket match. Popular band ‘Wild Flowers’ led by Batison will be in action for all three days at the OTSC tent along with the traditional ‘Papare’ band. Popular entertainer ‘Ronnie Leitch’ will be the guest artiste on all three days.

In addition to annual Thomian Cycle Parade, which will be held on 6th March, the OTSC will be organizing an open deck Double Decker bus decorated in College colours with a ‘Papare’ band to parade the Galle Road.

There will be a Club Night at the OTSC after the Parade, with Country and Western band
‘Red Sands’ in attendance led by Adrian. ‘The Club Night is open to all members, their families and guests’ said the social secretary of OTSC Tusita de Alwis.
