Siri Ranasinghe new president of Editors’ Guild

Editor- Lankadeepa, Siri Ranasinghe was unanimously elected President- The Editors' Guild of Sri Lanka, at its Annual General Meeting held recently at the Board Room of the Sri Lanka Press Institute.

Editor- Irida Lakbima, Sundara Nihathamani de Mel was re-elected Secretary, and Editor- Virakesari, R. Prabaghan was elected Treasurer of The Guild.

A six-member Executive Committee was also elected to assist the office bearers. The following were also re-elected; Attorneys-at-Law & Notaries Public- Messrs. Samararatna Associates as The Guild's Secretaries, Chartered Accountants Nihal Hettiarachchi & Co. as The Guild's Auditors, and Seylan Bank as The Guild's Bankers.
