Richmond in stunning win

Richmond recorded a stunning 84 runs win over Prince of Wales in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at Moratuwa yesterday. The encounter between the two schools which began in 1904 and played for the Major. A.P.M. Peiris trophy saw Richmond recording an outright win, their third this season, over Prince of Wales after 40 years.

Thurstan were home for tea when they defeated the hapless Dharmapala side by an innings and 162 runs in the Under 19 encounter concluded at Pannipitiya. The other matches ended in draws.
