‘X Storm 2011’ ends in grand scale

“X Storm :: The Green Gold Carnival 2011::”, an annual trade fair organized by the Advanced Level students of Amal International School, ended in a grand scale last week.

The Fair, which took place on the 23rd and 24th of December at the School premises and attracted more than 1500 people, was aimed at last minute Christmas shoppers – offering them super deals on the most essential items. On offer were items ranging from Textiles to Food Items.

Many entertaining activities were organized to keep the visitors enthralled. A Horror House, Counter Strike Tournaments, Skill Testing games, Snake Shows with two King Cobras and a Python, a Monkey Show with ‘Michael’ -the Monkey,and many other entertaining events attracting a lot of young visitors.
The biggest attraction of all was the Basketball matches among three selected teams which took place on both days. The winning teams were presented with certificates.

The Organizing committee wishes to thank the Event Partners – Elephant House and the Media Sponsors – Mirror Education and Sunday Education Times of Wijeya Newspapers LTD and all others who helped in numerous ways, to make this a successful and memorable Trade Fair!
