CNCI wins Global Commerce Excellence award

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) won the Global Commerce Excellence Award 2011, during its recent awards ceremony in Colombo. The award was presented to CNCI Chairman of the CNCI Preethi Jayawardena and its Secretary General/CEO Kumara Kandalama.

“The award was granted to the CNCI in recognition of the valuable contributions made towards the Sri Lankan Industry, and manufacturing services sectors for over five decades as the foremost service facilitator,” the chamber said. The awards were organized by the Shippers Academy Colombo with the guidance and patronage of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
