A better job this time

Cricket fever has gripped the sport to such an extent that people are nor fighting for places and doing things that they never anticipated to get the desired results. A certain umpire is trying for a top post and has been even working at the residence of a certain former cricket skipper to curry favour so that this individual will help him in his quest. The said individual is now retired but he never seems to give up. During his tenure he never did a good job. Do you think he will be able to do a better job this time?
Snubbed outright

It is now certain that a certain individual will not be able to contest at the cricket AGM and because of this, he has requested for an interview with the Big Man who has snubbed him outright. It is said that the Big Man has no time to hear the grievances of this individual.

Not done Sir!

At a recent big match a top notch sibling was taking strike and the person who was giving commentaries was so bold as to say over the mike that those who are aspiring for high places should see that the sibling never got out.

Another incident at this big game was the sporting one was run out by the bowler but the bowler concerned allowed him to bat on. Is this sport? Not done Sir!

India takes over

Over to football. There is an office at the now famous House dedicated to the world controling body. Recently however this section was removed. It is said that the Football Boss is not in favour with the controlling body and had the section dismantled because of differences. This section has now been moved to the adjoining sub-continent – India.

Dues not paid
The news is that even some of those officiating at matches have not been paid their dues and they are crying over the matter.

Somehow-or-the-other some of these officiating types have been paid. Others are left on the lurch. They are wondering when they will get their dues.
