Zen Dharmaratne clinched the 125th Annual Gold Medal Golf Tournament which teed off at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) on November 11. Dharmaratne scored 75 to win the main award as Roshen Perera won the Silver Medal with 85 points. Mihindu Chandrasoma finished third to claim the Bronze Medal after completing with 86 points.
The annual tournament is open to members of the NEGC and Royal Colombo Golf Club and this year the competition had a participation of over 70 players. This year’s event was sponsored by Harris Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd, who hinted of the beginning of a long-term partnership with the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.
