Leo Burnett goes arty

Leading ad agency Leo Burnett is holding their annual art exhibition ‘Leo Art’ for the third time. Seven selected artists contribute to the exhibition that opened to the public this week and will run through December during office hours at the agency’s offices 379, R.A. de Mel Mawatha, Colombo 3.

“We have been able to help several artists to be better known and the artists have got involved with some of the work we do for our clients at the agency. Our initiative has also been recognized by Leo Burnett Worldwide and the promotional work has been creatively acknowledged,” said Ranil De Silva, Managing Director of Leo Burnett.

Each year there is a core team who manages the exhibition, explained Ranil, adding that the larger agency team responds to the demands and chips in. The young artists whose work is showcased were enthusiastic about this opportunity to exhibit under the Leo Burnett banner.
