Arugam Bay Beachwear makes more waves

Arugam Bay Beachwear, the vibrant Sri Lankan brand with dreams to make a strong international mark began its groundbreaking association with European designer and Spain’s number 1 Agatha Ruiz de la Prada early this year. The first collaboration was a footwear collection, now comes a beachwear and a swimwear collection launched this week.

Agatha and Ajai: Going places with Arugam Bay

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is a household name in Europe with collaborations with some of the biggest names in the world, so for Arugam Bay beachwear, a young Sri Lankan brand, it was quite a breakthrough to get involved with an international name.

“We want to create a strong Sri Lankan brand which makes international impact and has a following across the globe. For that we have developed interesting plans- Agatha’s tie-up is already in its second phase,” said Ajai Vir Singh, CEO of Arugam Bay Beachwear.

Arugam Bay Beachwear which has its design philosophy firmly rooted in the sounds and sights of Sri Lanka has already established a small presence in India and is about to enter Maldives.
