When the creatures came out for eerie opening of ‘Yacht Cabin Cabanas’

Global Towers Hotel launched its new 5000 sq foot venue- ‘Yacht Cabin Cabanas’ on October 29 on an exciting note with a Halloween night party. Merry makers joined in the revelry at the open air event held in the hotel’s Yacht Cabin extension comprising a cluster of straw-thatched summer huts eerily lit with illuminated carved pumpkins, witches’ lamps, graveyard effects- coffins, skeletons et al.

The staff were dressed for the occasion and with face-painting and sound effects, it was a chillingly innovative evening with creatures of all sorts waiting at the entrance to welcome the guests.

“Though we have had several parties in Global Towers since 2004 this is the first time we organized an event in our new ‘Yacht Cabin Summer Hut,” said Tilome Nanayakkara, General Manager of the hotel, adding that with a growing need for outdoor catering they hope to further open their doors to organizing creative events.

With an enviable location overlooking the sea, the Yacht Cabin Hut looks to cater to those who enjoy the ambience of sea views and open sky. Open from 6 am to midnight, the Cabin Hut also serves pastries, cakes and beverages and can be reserved for events and corporate functions.
