Scoot ring to office

A car auction featuring five vehicles and a two wheeler had taken place at a top sport's head office. Somehow the word had leaked out about this auction and without the normal proceedings the auction had taken place and those in the know had grabbed these vehicles. It is even said that a certain lady who had wanted a scooter for her daily use had taken the only two wheeler at the auction and is using it at present.

The Obama type
Stories are buzzing around about the Obama House where members of a certain top sport are patronizing these days. It is said that the house belongs to a person who has no family at present and all those who are interested are using it for nefarious activities. It is also said that one person who is a regular user of this abode has a companion who happens to have his wife's name as well. What a coincidence!

To be thrown out by the ear!
The hot title these days is the cricket tour of the United Emirates and those who are down to write those happenings in the Desert. Three journalists had approached the 'man-in-charge' to gain accreditation but since they were from the Sinhala media the 'man-in-charge' had not taken the trouble to get them the necessary documentation. Not used to taking things down meekly the three media men had confronted the chief of operations and had told him their sad plight. The chief had confronted the 'man in charge' and told him in no uncertain terms that if he cannot do his job he will be thrown out by his ear!

The crafty lot
A crisis hit sport, who are unable to pay their salaries, had recently decided to leave out 31 minor employees. However the management has decided to trim down certain staff in the higher grades to show that they are doing something to cut down expenses. How crafty can one be?

The 'bath packet' story
Officials of a recent sports festival had approached the big man and had pointed out to him that they were able to save Rs.39 million by their careful approach. Those in the know say that by giving cheap 'bath packets' the organizers of this festival were able to save some cash and are making a hue and cry about it.

The Hitler type
The athletic types are wondering how some officials managed to make a secret tour abroad with none of the others in the association knowing about it. They say that the man at the top is like Hitler and has his own way. He decides who should go abroad and who should stay. Some members of the association are keeping away from meetings as Hitler and his cahoots are running the show and they have no say in the running of the association's matters.

The Beach party
The high profile beach thing was over and the coverage was unexpected. So much so even the minister came around and thanked the journos for a job well done. Then came the evening party at the Peacock. Yet some of the pen men were aghast. Kept for them for their enjoyment were kind of thing that they generally use to throw at dogs along with some Murukku bites.
Most of the journos peacefully walked off.

Even at cricket
Persons who are engaged in the easy money quick rich business is even in cricket administration. The man from the beach front city close to Colombo found sleuths surrounding his house along with the others for a search recently. The quicker they get rid of these people it is better for the game.

Fishing the brood
MP 'Puss' who is now behind the screen manipulator of cricket is exercising his powers he got from the House. He now has used his affiliations and solved some lands and other problems of the dressing room members to keep them on his side so that he can manipulate the game to a greater degree.
