Rotaract Club of the University of Moratuwa gets a new board

The 16th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of the University of Moratuwa was held recently at the BCIS Auditorium of BMICH. The Board of Directors for the year 2011/2012 were introduced and Rtr. Benura Vithana was inducted as the new president for another year of Rotaract Mora. Rtn.PHF.

Doulat Kundanmal was the chief guest. The guest of honour for the event was Rtr. Nishan Weerasooriya, who was the charter president of the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa.

Rtr. Kimal Wasalathilake, the project co-chairperson warmly welcomed the gathering and expressed his thoughts about the success of the Rotaract Club throughout these years.

The immediate Past President, Rtr. Dilina Fernando was invited onstage and shared his experiences through four years of service to the club. He also introduced the newly inducted president to the gathering. The incoming president Rtr. Benura Vithana promised to keep up the glory of the club as he introduced the board members.

The theme for the year, “Serve All, Serve Together, Rejoice” was also introduced as the evening progressed. Certificates and awards were distributed to the members in recognition of their contribution and services to the club during the past year.
