No….no! It was not special cuisine

All cricketers wait for one thing at mid day: their lunch. But on this occasion when the lunch packets were opened, instead of the scrumptious lunch they expected, the lunch contained creepy, crawly worms in the food. The Match Referee took pictures of te lunch packets and now a major inquiry is on.

The same again
The Ice Cream Canister (ICC) gave the present lot a sum of money to pay the poor suppliers their dues at the Big Cup that was played in the island. Now we hear that the present lot has paid a part payment and kept a portion for their day-to-day expenses just like the other lot.

No…not them
At the last Big Cup held in Sri Lanka the organisers wanted to honour a list of people. However the people from the Ice Cream Canister had cut off a name from Galle alleging that he had not attended a match fixing inquirey and the other for being a part in the gaming industry.

The fat lady sings
The lady who cut all the eligible men and took the job is going haywire. Now the lady seems to be trampling many a toe including that of Dilly and some others of standing. It is now learned the Ice Cream big man – Mr. Big Heart who was here for the launch was rather embarrassed with the way the lady was going about at the event. Mr. U should have known better! Some say now.

What a thing
The team has been selected to play Pakistan in the not too future. Two players who were expected to be in the team have been dropped like hot bricks. One player has been axed because he was too cocky as he belonged to a service team and the other because he refused to skipper a representative team at a three day game.

Kneeling in the sun
A lady cricket coach who had once skipped from the national team at Heathrow Airport is back in the island and is now coaching a girl’s team. This coach had asked a girl of the team that she is coaching to kneel in the sun as a punishment for an offence. This poor girl has fallen sick after being in the sun and that too on her knees. She is now being treated for severe sun burn and dizzy spells.

Interfering in too many matters
Three top cricketers have been summoned by the Big Man and he had berated them for the poor performances against a visiting team. This has happened in Kandy where the Big Guy has a mansion. As a protest, of this lambasting the three cricketers refused to attend a press conference. No wonder why we keep on losing matches. This is what happens when one goes to interfere in too many matters.

Souvenirs at home
At the launch of a key cricket competition to be held in the island in the near future, the press was handed over some souvenirs. However later comers to the conference were not given these souvenirs. It has now been revealed that the lady who was in charge of these souvenirs had taken them home.
