Bank executive dies of snakebite

Assistant Manager- State Mortgage & Investment Bank, Kollupitiya, Inoka Chamindani, 37, died of snakebite at her residence in Thalangama this week.
A Weli Polonga had bitten her at the entrance to her house around 8 p.m. on Monday (12).
Her husband, D.S. Senanayake Vidyalaya Deputy Principal, Lal Dissanayake immediately rushed his pain-stricken wife to the National hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit on Wednesday (14). |
