Bull riders back again to Thrill the Lankans

The four riders who enthralled a record attendance of 220,000 Sri Lankan fans last year will be again in action at the Red Bull X-Fighters Jams later this month. The event which will ticketed this year is set to take place at the Galle Face Green in Colombo on July 30 (Saturday) from 3.00 p.m.

The four riders, Jimmy Verburge and Gilles Dejong from Belgium, Nick De Wit from South Africa and Swedish Daniel Bodin will thrill the local motor fans in a three-hour show where extreme motorcycle actions will be featured.

The riders will arrive in Colombo on July 25 and will be in Sri Lanka for five days before the final showdown. During their stay the riders will conduct a workshop for the Sri Lanka Army and Police riders, a day prior to the main event at the set venue. “They are here to promote and give a leaning experience of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour which is currently in progress.

These riders are experts in freestyle motorcross (FMX) and Sri Lankans will surely be thrilled to see them perform in Colombo,” Shobhana Kagoo, the Communications Manager for Red Bull in Sri Lanka said.

The Red Bull X-Fighters is the biggest FMX series in the world with professional riders on the quest to win the coveted crown for their extreme performances. The world tour which runs around six main cities of six continents kicked off in Dubai last April and continued in Brazil and Italy. The tour which continues monthly will continue with Spain and Poland and is set to finish off in grand style in Sydney, Australia.
