Vijitha, Ketiyapa bag VB titles

Vijitha Central College Dikwella took the senior boys title while Ketiyape Central College emerged girls champions at the Matara District Tournament of the DSI Super Sports Schools Volleyball Tournament worked off at the Sanath Jayasuriya Grounds in Matara.

Following are the placing of the competition: Under 14 Boys - (1) Talpawila Central, (2) Kamburupitiya Central, (3) Deiyandara National School, (4) Pitabeddara Central.

Under 14 Girls - (1) St. Thomas’ Girls School Matara,(2) Mahamaya Girls College Matara, (3) Telijawila Royal College, (4) Ovitagamuwa Central.

Under 16 Boys – (1) Kamburugamuwa Central, (2) Matara Central, (3) Talpawila Central, (4) Kamburupitiya Central.

Under 16 Girls – (1) St. Mathews Deniyaya, (2) Sri Summangala Weligama, (3) Pitabeddara Central, (4) Narandeniya Central.

Under 18 Boys – (1) Vijitha Central Dikwella, (2) Kamburugamuwa College, (3) Yatiyana Central,(4) Athureliya Central.

Under 18 Girls– (1) Ketiyape Central, (2) Deiyandara National School, (3) Sri Summangala Weligama, (4) St. Thomas’ Girls School Matara.
