Hejaaz International opens doors for 18th intake of new admissions

It's a new academic year, a new class, a new uniform, new friends, new teachers and new activities and knowledge to gain. The school is now taking in students for pre-Grade 1 for the Boys' and Girls' sections.
Students can learn from the country's best in pre-grade education, as the teachers are qualified to this extent in their psychological care and teaching expertise of children. The school also has award winners and one such teacher is Ms.Ayesha Rismi Nazeer who recently won the Liberty Golden Teachers' award for the best teacher in the Montessori and Primary school sections in the country. Boys and girls have the opportunity to indulge themselves in various fun activities that include not only creative mind activity but also in Art & Craft, inculcating in them a yeaning for knowledge and friendly teamwork. They are also caringly given the understanding to discipline themselves.

The school has grown from strength to strength over the years and has focused on producing winners in keeping with their Mission Statement, " To achieve excellence in education and to produce world-class citizens the school shall produce citizens of value in education, professionalism and in the ethics of life, guiding them from primary to adult and giving them wings to fly the world in any profession".

Hejaaz International has been very successful over the years in achieving great results at the IAS external exams and the Australian Chemistry Quiz exams with country and world toppers. In the very recent British Art festival, the school produced 89 Gold, 54 Silver and 15 Bronze medals. It also encourages other activities such as scrabble, participation in debate contests, quiz programmes and community services. Basket ball, netball and athletics are part of the sports programme currently.

The school endeavours to improve the boys' and girls' sections to meet international standards in education and examinations with possible affiliations to overseas colleges. In keeping with the Government's encouragement of ICT it is presently focusing on giving students a firm foundation in computer studies that would lead to higher Diploma and Degree programmes.
The administrative office of the School is located at 11 St. Sylvester Road, Mount Lavinia.
