Both Central Province and Western Province will conduct games in order to select the final 22 to represent each province for the game on June 16 at CR & FC Rugby Grounds.
Central Province matches will take place at Nittawela and the Western Province Games will be worked off at CR & FC. All schools have been requested to name 5 players each from their various institutions.
The tour for the Junior Rugby Asiad will take place from June 25 to July 3 in Hong Kong with Sri Lanka playing alongside Japan, Thailand and Hong Kong.
The Lankans were placed number 3 last year.
The Junior National Team will be coached by New Zealander Ellen Meachen who was in charge of the Romanian and Tongan before taking over the Sri Lankan outfit. |
