Gurutalawa Thomians win annual encounter

S. Thomas’ Gurutalawa captained by Udesh Ranaweera beat S. Thomas’ College Bandarawela by four wickets to bag the Headmasters E. St. Patrick Gunawardena and SLA Ratnayake Trophies for the first time since this annual encounter was revived in 2009 in their traditional cricket encounter played at the Bandarawela Esplanade.

Prof. Mohan de Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sri Jayawardenapura and an Old Boy of STC Gurutalawa was the Guest of Honour.
