Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa appears to be seeking the blessings and protection from the recent crisis facing the government, co-incidentally from a group of Buddhist monks from a Katunayake temple.
He is seen here telling them that one monk from Katunayake had called the Defence Ministry on the issue of the protests at Katunayake and the Ministry had traced the call to a location inside a Brandix factory. None of the monks present said they had made the call.
