Science shock Wesley

Science shocked Wesley to chalk up a stunning 10-5 win in their Under-20 schools league rugby match played at Mt. Lavinia yesterday. With all points coming from tries Science led 5-0 at half time.
After a rough start the winners took the lead through a try on the left flank by winger Hashan Madushanka in the 35th minute.

After the turnaround Wesley retaliated boldly to level the scores through flanker Shehan Saranga who posted an under-the-post try in the 47th minute. But the Wesleyites failed to add the vital extra points. In the 64th minute winger Thusith Gomes gave Science the lead once again with an identical try to lead 10-5 and emerge winners for the fourth time this season.
