Sri Rahula takes the inaugural big one

Sri Rahula College Katugastota came from behind to score a rousing six-wicket win over Ranabima Royal in the inaugural big match played at Katugastota. Man-of-the-match Ishara Hewage who scored a blistering 107 (20 fours, 1 six), skipper Roshan Subasinghe (match bag of 7 wickets and 38) and Rajitha Ranatunga (5 wickets and 30) were the architects of the win.

S. Jerusana, S. D. Ananda and C. A. D. Priyadharshana were the pick of Ranabima Royal’s players. Sri Rahula’s earlier big match opponents were Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya Kandy. However this year the school authorities decided to change all that.
