Sri Lanka crashes in Almaty

Sri Lanka continued their losing streak this time in Almaty when they were beaten by below form Kazakhastan by 34 Points (2 Goals, 2 Tries, 1 Penalty) to 18 Points(1 Goal, 1 Try, 2 Penalties) in the HSBC Asian Five Nations Rugby encounter yesterday.Sri Lanka who was earlier defeated by Hong Kong and drew against UAE will be demoted to Division 1 while Korea will play in the Asian Five Nations Top 5 next year.

The home team will lock horns with Asian Champions Japan which is expected to be one sided affair.
