Global talent and career management group in alliance with Michel Nugawela Designs

Right Management, one of the world’s leading talent and career management companies, announced this week that it is entering into a strategic alliance with Michel Nugawela Designs, a well recognized brand consultancy that operates in Sri Lanka, South East Asia, and the Middle East, to offer a range of innovative brand performance solutions.

Right is a world leader in providing solutions that span the entire workforce lifecycle, including talent assessment, leader development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. “The partnership is an important expansion in our service delivery network to help companies in Sri Lanka win in the changing world of work by designing and executing workforce solutions that align talent strategy with business strategy,” said the joint statement.

Regional General Manager of Right Management for India, Australia & New Zealand, Bridget Beattie said they were excited about this strategic alliance with Michel Nugawela Designs. “Right Management brings to the partnership more than 30 years of experience helping both large and small companies grow talent, reduce costs and accelerate brand performance,” she added.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of renowned Manpower Inc, which services over 80% of Fortune 500 and 70% of Global Fortune 500 clients. The statement said Mr Nugawela has rebranded some of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious blue-chips, including Aitken Spence, Heritance Hotels & Resorts, Lion Brewery, Elephant House, and most recently Goodhope, Carson Cumberbatch & Company’s palm oil business in Indonesia.

Mr Nugawela said that while Sri Lankan firms have been quick to recognize the business opportunities following the war, few are paying attention to their organizational cultures. “There is a clear recognition that the business landscape is going to change in the next decade with increasing competition, from both domestic and multinational firms. Business leaders now need to think of how they will approach this landscape with new mindsets and new teams that improve their bottom-line and deliver brand performance.”

“The addition of talent management and employee engagement into our portfolio supports and strengthens our core services in brand identity”, Mr Nugawela noted. “By creating high performance organizational cultures firmly aligned to the brand identity, we are now able to partner our clients to improve employee performance, increase productivity and net profits, and reduce turnover within an organization.”
