Ceymed recently opened another fully automated diagnostic Laboratory in Jaffna in the presence of the Board of Directors of Ceyline Group and Ceymed and distinguished invitees from Jaffna. They included Jaffna Mayor Ms. Yogeshwary Pathgurajah, Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe and Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Shanmugalingam.
Ceymed Healthcare Services (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the Ceyline Group of Companies, is a well-known health facility and a leader in diagnostic services for the past 10 years. Dr. Sarath Paranavitane, the Director Medical of Ceymed, is a renowned Family Physician in the country. The company has five main branches with fully equipped laboratories in difference parts of the country. As a part of the out-reach programme, more than 100 collecting centres are operational in the suburbs and remote villages.
These laboratories and centre are manned by qualified skilled and committed individuals. Ceymed also has its satellite labs in Ragama, Piliyandala, Kalubowila, Panadura, Horana and Trincomalee. “With a view to serving the population in rural areas, Ceymed intends opening collecting centres in underdeveloped and developing parts of the country. This is to ensure that people from these areas will have access to a diagnostic facility that provides rapid and accurate service,” the company said in a statement.
