The Pakistan team very cleverly studied the pitch conditions and used their spinners. They made use of their spinners and contained the Australian batting. Thereby they limited the runs of their rivals.
The Austrlians were depending on their fast bowlers and they did not work out well for them.
Sri Lanka has so far performed well and positioned themselves well in the second place of the group.
The team has shown that their fitness and mental conditions are good thereby displaying signs that could reach the finals.”

This is the first time in the World Cup the Australians have been exposed. They clearly displayed that they cannot face spin bowlers and in addition Pakistan put up a good fielding display.
However we cannot rule out the Australians coming into the finals. I am predicting that Pakistan or Sri Lanka will be in the finals.
The Sri Lankan team is performing well and we have a balanced team.
As we have performed well and been placed second in the A group we are likely to face England which has been vulnerable in the tournament. However we should be cautious.”

The way both Pakistan and Australia play in the field pose a challenge to the Sri Lankan team in the coming matches.
India is also a strong team, but if all our cricketers perform equally well there is no doubt we will come to the finals. This is a game of luck and talent.”

Two strong teams played yesterday and there was a good contest. Eventually it was won by Pakistan.
We are set to enter the semi finals going by the performance of the team so far.
There are other teams which have been performing well.
