This is a great opportunity to obtain a degree in BEng. (Hons) Software Engineering and BSc. (Hons) Business Information Systems offered by the University of Westminster- London and are conducted by the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), a subsidiary of the Informatics Group. This is also a cost effective alternative when compared to some of the current prevailing private higher education opportunities available.

With so many students who are eligible of entering university being deprived the chance to do so due to the state university intakes being limited, a majority of students do not have the opportunity to pursue higher education and achieve their cherished dreams.

IIT offers a unique scholarship scheme for students who have obtained good Advanced Level results, but who unfortunately have not been able to enter the state universities. The IIT students' scholarship scheme offers opportunities to pursue higher education whilst enabling the country to build up a larger IT & Business workforce.

All applications for this scheme will be collected at one central point, out of which the selected applicants will go through a challenging written examination to test on IQ, analytical & mathematical skills, and competency in writing followed by a Viva to test on soft skills and ability to converse in English in order to clarify the general aptitude to join the Business and Software Industry. Finally, the Short listed candidates will be further interviewed by the respective sponsoring organizations to select the most suitable candidates for them.

The selected scholars will be employed as trainees in well-reputed local and international companies on full-time basis and will be paid an attractive allowance. The Scholars should sign an agreement with the respective companies who sponsor their scholarship for the next five years. The Degree programme will be held parttime.

The benefit that students will have through these scholarship schemes is the ability to obtain an international degree from the University of Westminster in addition to the five years of working experience, which will make them highly marketable products both locally and internationally.
