7th Convocation of College of Chemical Sciences

The 7th convocation of the College of Chemical Sciences was held on Thursday February 24, 2011 at the Galadari Hotel Colombo. The Chief guest on this occasion was Dr.Neville V Reed, BSc(Leicester) , PhD(Oxon),C Chem, CSci, FRSC (Managing Director, Science, Education and Industry, Royal Society of Chemistry, UK)

125 awardees including graduate chemists, licentiate, advance diplomats, and diploma in laboratory course received their certificate from Prof. J N O Fernando Hony. Dean College of Chemical sciences and the medal from chief guest Dr Neville V Reed.

Ms. Dilmani Warnasuriya C Chem & Mr K R Dayananda C Chem were recognized for their yeoman and honorary service and their rich contribution to the success of the educational programmes of the institute in an exemplary and noteworthy manner. The function ended with lunch for all awardees
