Fun has a face

‘It’s Cool In The Furnace’ a fun musical directed by Jerome L De Silva, is the first junior drama to go on board at the British School Auditorium at the end of this month. Excitement is rising and there’s music in the air as the cast steps to the rhythm of Salsa, Jazz, Gospel and even Scottish tunes.

Jerome is working with the children on every detail of the production from acting to choreography to singing. The production will no doubt do justice to Baryl Reds beautiful Lyrics and Music along with Grace Hawthorns amazing rendition of the story about three men of God and their trials with the king.

Jerome's “out of the box” thinking has helped modify the original script into a modern version of the adventures of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego their faith in the presence of fire - literally.

The dialogue is witty, funny and will entertain the entire family. Jerome promises lots of styles of dance from ballet moves to head banging to the Scottish jig. This is one roller-coaster ride you don’t want to miss.

The junior cast comprising of children aged 7 to 15+ years have done an amazing job. Kudos to the cast and don’t miss this supper team of young and enthusiastic dramatists perform from February 25- 27 at the British School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the venue.
