Trinity overcome Kingswood 19-0

A strong looking Trinity team, whose forte was their positioning, overcame Kingswood 19 points (2 Goals, 1 Try) to nil in the final of the Central Province Under 20 Twelve-a-side tournament at Pallekelle yesterday.

The absence of schools like Vidyartha and Dharmaraja dampened the enthusiasm a bit.
Semi-finals: Trinity beat St. Sylvester’s 36-0; Kingswood beat St. Anthony’s 40-0; Final: Trinity beat Kingswood 19-0.

Referees: Aruna Rankothge (Final), Gerald Rasiah, Mohammed Faizal, YMS Ratnayake and Asela Muthumala.
