Hello everyone. This is a search launched to find Aphrodite, as Lord Zeus has complained that she is missing from Olympus
Aphrodite, if you don't know yet, is the goddess of love according to the ancient Greeks. And the other Olympians think that with so much hatred and violence being spread in the world, Aphrodite has left her throne in Olympus. And Olympus without its prettiest goddess, wouldn't look that attractive, don't you think???
So, dear ones, join hands with the Funday to look for the pretty Aphrodite. There's
nothing much to do to bring her back but show love and compassion every opportunity we get.
Firstly, we should try not to hold grudges, as grudges could be the first step to a long term hatred. That ruins love, big time! For
example, imagine you had a fight with your friends, siblings, or parents. Don't keep bad feelings towards them till the next day.
That affects a good night's sleep too. Give them all a big hug before going to sleep.
Another essential matter is, never hesitate to show love and compassion towards another person, it will encourage that person to express love and
compassion as well. Love and
compassion can change many things, beginning from small fights at school to big wars that involve countries. Don't think saying "Sorry" is a weakness.
It is a strength that spreads peace and harmony by loving others.
There are kids at school who like to bully other students. Always remember that they behave like that because they do not get enough love and attention. So, try to be nice to them. If the bullying continues, you can complain to your teachers.
Another matter to
consider is that if someone does something wrong to you, (I know that happens a lot in school, as some crazy kids play around there) don't start defending your case by shouting at them.
Instead of shouting at them in return, you can talk to them politely and if that doesn't work, you can complain to your teachers. There are many other things you can do to solve problems other than shouting and
scolding.
Treat all people with respect and
dignity, even if someone is not doing the same with you. Remember Aphrodite. There is someone whose existence is at stake if love goes missing in the world. And without her, the world will lose its balance.
As I said before, love is not difficult to spread and practice. You can help your old neighbour who needs help in
gardening, or help your parents carry the grocery bags to the car, or, you can share your favourite cosy chair in front of the TV with your sibling and watch cartoons together (remember to give a hug to your sibling too, even if you are upset with him or her. That makes the sharing pleasant).
Today, we see a fast-changing world wherein Aphrodite is considered a myth. But, is she really is a myth??? I don't think so. I think we see Aphrodite, the prettiest of all, in everything we share, every time we say something pleasant, nice, whenever we hug someone and spread love and compassion.
Children are the hope of the future world. So who better than you to start a new beginning by changing our ways, what say you?
