The inaugural Nalanda College Inter School Squash tournament, which is being organized by their Old Boys’ Association (OBA) in partnership with Squash Federation of Sri Lanka, is scheduled to take place on December 3 and continue for five days at the school’s newly opened squash courts.
Some of the schools that have been listed to participate in the boy’s segment are Ananda College, Royal College, D.S Senanayake College and St. Joseph’s College. Two girls schools, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya and Holy Family Convent, will also compete at the event. Vice President of the Nalanda OBA, Rear Admiral H. Ratnakeerthi said that the competition was being staged to promote the sport amongst the school’s students. Entries for the event are still open and interested schools can register at Nalanda College before this Wednesday. |
