Rolls cut in half

A leading sports body recently conducted a press conference and to the utter amazement of those present Chinese rolls cut in half was served as refreshment.

I beg your pardon

A group of Sportsmen from the Pacific Ocean were here on a mission and the head of the Citadel was trying to introduce them to the scribes who had gathered.

While parting with frivolous accolades on them he used an ungainly word that nearly killed the good old queen. Instead of Calypso he muttered something to the effect of “Calyptic” to the amusement of everyone who had gathered at the five star joint.

CID on their tracks

Officials of a top sports body had been scrutinized by the CID for alleged misrepresentations and 21 individuals in various categories have been unearthed by the findings. Washed out

A terrific downpour on Wednesday cast a pall of doom on the impending World Cup as one of the venues for the competition was flooded and even an office set aside for the contest was washed off destroying all the furniture in it. Now the big question is whether this venue will be fit when Clive Lloyd, the great West Indian, pays a visit to inspect the grounds for the big venture.

Bodybuilder weakened
