A 1st at Excel World!

It was a day filled with fun and team spirit when American National College sponsored a Games Day for its students at Excel World on the October 15. The ANC exclusively booked the bowling center, Ground Zero and the Pool Parlor at Excel World for its students and the venue was open to all ANC students to come and have a great afternoon of entertainment to relax their minds.

In fact, young ANC students converted Excel World into a hive of energy and activity. Fun, frolic and friendly banter were the order of the day. The event, which was the first to be organized by ANC, was well patronized with the participation of over 400 students, who had unlimited access to the pool parlor, bowling center and the gaming area.

Several tournaments were also organized to create some friendly competition among students while also promoting a sense of team spirit. The ANC Rotaract Club organized a bowling tournament while the Engineering Club at Ground Zero organized a gaming tournament.

The winners of the bowling tournament were Hatim Zubair, Muaz Ismail and Radesh Radella.
A team comprising Kulsith, Suman, Umar Ali, Mubha and Roger Shedden won the gaming tournament.
According to the ANC students, the Games Day was a day filled with fun and helped strengthen the bonds between friends while building new friendships.

ANC's endeavour in making learning a fun experience was a roaring success. The Games Day created an excellent opportunity for students from the three university programmes - US, UK and Monash - conducted at ANC to interact out of their study environment.

For new ANC students, it was also a great way to start the new semester by meeting the rest of the group at the College. The Games Day concept was initiated by ANC recognizing the importance of striking a balance between academic excellence and recreation in students.

ANC, with its commitment to build a balanced student population while giving them a true taste of campus life, has decided to organize a series of extracurricular and leisure events for their students throughout the year There's more in store for the ANC students!.
