This October, Education invites you to Colombo, Kandy & Jaffna where Sri Lanka's most focused higher education & career exhibition, ADYAPANA 2010 series is being held. Themed as 'Passport to your future' the event will feature international higher educational institutions and relevant organizations' participating alongside Sri Lankan universities.

The announcement was made through a statement issued by Hon. Minister S.B.Dissanayake, Minister of Higher Education, who pointed out that Adyapana 2010 series aims at unifying the efforts of the organizers and the exhibitors in capturing the benefits of local & international experiences and achieving effective joint cooperation with international universities and institutions. He said that this is happening at a time when the country has witnessed massive progress and expansion in establishing universities and where higher education is considered the open door for the 21st century.

Hon. Minister Nandamithra Ekanayake, the Chief Guest for the inauguration ceremony added Adyapana exhibition series represents a confirmation to the urgent desire for holding partnership programmes with internationally-renowned universities to carry on with the enhancement of higher education in Sri Lanka, while enabling Sri Lankan students to choose the right and suitable education destination.
One of the main goals of this event is to accomplish full awareness and knowledge of all aspects of higher education and its organizations at world level, which will in turn contribute to keeping Sri Lanka abreast with the rapid progress of this vital sector.

'Adyapana' with its vast direct foreign participation will encourage Sri Lankan higher educational institutions to enter into agreements with their international counterparts, enabling the private sector and students to interact with experienced foreign universities allowing them to become familiarised with their educational and admission procedures.

"The ADYAPANA exhibition plays the perfect middleman helping young students & parents to find their ideal institute of higher education. The timing of the event was purposefully planned to coincide with the post A/L purgatory period. Therefore, ADYAPANA 2010 comes as a real blessing to these students; alleviating the stress and panic that arises when making such life shaping decisions. This event offers both career guidance and all necessary information all under one roof." stated Sudesh Lenadora -Project Manager of Adyapana series.

There will be several concurrent seminars held alongside Adyapana exhibition in grooming school leavers for a brighter future. Adyapana 2010 lets you navigate through the highest-quality trilingual institutes & universities that offer internationally-recognized academic programmes locally & internationally. This is a tremendous opportunity for seeking top-quality education at affordable prices. Adyapana exhibition series has provided the much needed encouragement for every initiative that contributes to the progress of higher education and its institutions in serving Sri Lanka's development plans and fulfilling the needs of society creating a 'passport to your future'.
