SLC has no qualms about sex enhancer

By S.R. Pathiravithana

The SLC management does not see anything wrong with giving their consent to the Wayamba Eleven to sport the ‘Musli Power’ (a drug supposed to be a sex enhancer) emblem on their shirts during next month’s Champions League T-20.

According to Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee Secretary Nishantha Ranatunge, Kunnath Pharmaceuticals is a leading drug distributing company in India who even handles Ayurvedic Products and they are also one of the main sponsors of the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in India.

Indian Newspaper The Hindustan Times earlier reported that a senior member of the Wayamba team, who was embarrassed during the photo session, rushed to change the jersey as soon as the ceremony was over.

The Hindustan Times also quoted the company boasting, “We are India’s number one. Wayamba are Sri Lanka’s Number 1. Together we will be World Number one.”
