Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Time Warp Decision
By Ishaq Haniffa (14 years), Asian Int., School

When I was six,
Life was very hard,
Mom and Dad were scared to send me out.
Everything was done for me,
And I had little freedom.

When I was nine, I learned,
They pampered me so much,
Was for my own protection,
For my own benefit,
They made the right decision for me.

When I was twelve, I realized,
There was no one there to care for me,
No one to make the right choices for me,
This was the time,
I had to choose,
The crossroads of destiny.
