‘GIT Champion’ from Janaka Madhuwantha

No more worries for A/L students on their GIT (General Information Technology) Examination. Thanks to Master Janaka Madhuwantha Dias Senanayake, 18year old student of Nalanada College-Colombo who has come up with an ideal solution.

GIT examination which was inaugurated in 2005 for the first year students of G.C.E. A/L assesses the students' knowledge related to IT. Now, Master Janaka has produced a CD which can be used as software consisting all the five years' questions & answers. By referring this CD, students will be able to face their GIT examination with much more confidence.

The CD named as "GIT Champion", was launched on June 23 2010, which took him more than half a year. Speaking to THE Sunday Times Master Janaka said, this was initially executed as his individual project for the A/L examination and is a great honour for the Computer Society of the College, where he leads as the chairman. - Nevin Bhasura
