Read faster, understand

better and remember moreIn today's economic, business or academic environment, to dissect the abundance of information that one is bombarded with is an essential life skill. The importance of this vital skill cannot be stressed enough. The task becomes that much more tedious to those who dislike reading large volumes of information, or for those who simply don't have the time to do it. A most welcome option would be to reduce the time spent reading, while maintaining the same or an even higher level of comprehension. The ability to read faster and remember everything that you read is becoming an increasing concern for everyone these days.

Even if you are a scholar studying for a degree, or even the A/L examinations, you will be swamped with reading material. Sometimes not everything gets registered in your mind. An everyday life of a working adult requires them to at least read through hundreds of emails, briefs and research documents. You need to spend at least an hour of your day reading published information which could be newspapers, websites, etc to stay updated in this constantly evolving environment. Being able to read and understand written information faster is popularly known as "speed reading". While your reading speed increases, your comprehension remains the same or increases. In other words, your 'reading productivity' is greatly enhanced.

An average person around the world reads at around 150 words per minute which means that within an hour they read approximately 9000 words. Sanjeev Jayaratnam a well known corporate trainer who conducts training programmes on "Power Reading" has a reading speed of 900 to 1000 words per minute. After following his training 25% of adults and 90% of teenagers were able to read up to 1000 words per minute at the same or higher levels of retention. Meaning, within a span of an hour you will be able to read approximately 60,000 words while being able to remember the same amount of information you would have remembered if you had spent 6 hours reading it. This way you will be able to save the time that you spend reading or gather more information on the same amount of time that you have allocated for your reading.

Sounds impossible doesn't it? Well Sanjeev assures that this is truly possible. He will ensure that you train your brain to read fast, and remember the material. This will help train your brain to function at its optimal capacity. People all over the world have benefited from this skill, and while this is new to Sri Lanka, countries like the US have strongly encouraged this skill. This is an essential skill for any individual who studies or just likes to read. There is no age barrier for it, and you can start learning to read faster at any age. You can train your children from their younger days to learn how to read faster than an average person, thus improving their chances of staying ahead in this competitive world.

Sanjeev has done several programmes for schools and corporates, which has earned him enthusiastic reviews, many thank you notes and lots of praise. An interesting feature of the programme is its ability to nurture progress in a scientific manner. He has also received testimonies of individuals who have improved their reading levels with same or better comprehension in excess of even 1000%.
There is actually no better way to stay ahead and also save the many hours that you spend reading, either at your computer, newspapers or e-books. The minimum expected increase is 100% or he gives you back your investment. Guaranteed!
