Gampaha District Swimming Meet concludes today

The final day of the seventh Annual Gampaha District Swimming Meet, organized by Regent International College, is due to be held today from 9 am.

The two day event sees several outstation swimmers from 50 schools and 10 clubs battling it out in the hope of gold medal success. The meet also seeks to promote the sport amongst outstation swimmers who are often deprived of proper swimming facilities.

The competition is sanctioned by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) and as such all meet record will be deemed legitimate.
