Josephian Walk and Carnival 2010

The Josephian Walk 2010, which is now a bi-annual college event, will be held on July 18 (Sunday) at the College premises in Maradana. The walk will commence from the College main gate at 12 p.m. and proceed towards the Town Hall area and Liptons Circus and eventually end back at the College. The walk will be followed by a carnival until midnight with loads of fun, games and surprises.

The carnival will offer a kiddies corner, with plenty of fun and games to keep your kids occupied and will also host a fashion show in addition to a musical show that will launch your senses into a festive atmosphere. Music will be courtesy of some of the leading DJs, Bands and Vocalists in Sri Lanka who will ensure that you are kept entertained right up until the end of the event. A raffle draw will be held in which many prizes and surprises will be up for grabs while there will be plenty of refreshment stalls to quench your thirst and take care of any hunger pangs!

The entire proceeds of this year’s walk will be donated for the proposed New Library Project and also fund plans to build a Fine Arts Centre in the College premises.
See you at the walk!
