Commencing 11 July, the Park Street Mews Restaurant introduces a Street Brunch and monthly Soul Funk afternoon from 11.00 am – 3.00pm. The Brunch will be set up outdoors on the cobbled street & will be a regular feature every Sunday thereafter.
Chef Sharif and his team will be dishing out a varied spread featuring both western & eastern delights that will come with a price that’s easy on the purse too!
The monthly SOUL FUNK SUNDAY is also scheduled later in the afternoon. As the name indicates SOUL FUNK SUNDAY is the venue in Colombo for all funky people to chill out with family, meet up with friends and enjoy food & beverage on a perfect balmy Sunday afternoon going into late evening.
The date this time around co-incides with the finals of the FIFA World Cup Finals so a Street party is on the cards. Invite your pals , dress in the colours of the country your cheering for & dance in the street before watching the finals on a large screen!
Resident DJ’s TAREEQ & MISODISKO have been as usual digging in deep to unearth some of the best & rarest funk, soul & ol’skool classics –all on vinyl records & symbolic of the era! Spin off is at 5pm.
The menu on this day will be all street food ranging from Satays to Shawarma, Potato Fries & Wedges together with the a la carte menu too should anyone want to tuck into something more substantial! |
