Dharmaraja College’s ’91 Rajans, part of the school’s Old Boys’ Union, will host “Rally with Rajans”, a motor rally which will pass through most of Kandy, on July 3.
Organizers of the event expect approximately 50 vehicles to take part, with competition being divided into team and individual events. Drivers will have their performances timed and anyone with a motor car, off road vehicle, or dual purpose vehicle can join the rally.
Once out of the city, the 60 km rally track winds through suburban areas of Kandy passing some of the most picturesque areas in the Central hills before crossing the line at Hotel Hilltop.
Proceeds from the event will go to the opening of a physical fitness gymnasium within the Lake View Sports complex of Dharmaraja College. |
