Touch of Bollywood glitz for Lanka’s fashion label

Sri Lanka's newest fashion label Aviraté by Timex Garments presenting the fashion extravaganza as part of the recently concluded IIFA awards had stars like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu on the ramp.

Malaika Arora Khan modelled for Vikram Phadnis, while Lankan cricket captain Kumar Sangakkara and actress Jacqueline Fernandez were show stoppers for Manish Malhotra. Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher walked the ramp showcasing Lamhaa.

The show hosted by Vivek Oberoi and Dia Mirza was a glitzy event, with Indian and Sri Lankan fashion designers showcasing their collections. Indian designers featured were Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis, while the Sri Lankan designers were Yoland and Kanchana (KT Brown).
