CMA panel discussion on “Sustainable Business”

Sustainable business will be the focus of a CMA Global Management Accounting Summit with a panel discussion involving business leaders in the country, to be held later this month.

CMA said the panel discussion will focus mainly on aspects applicable to business organizations such as sustainable business versus profitable business, goals of sustainable business achieved at the expense of short/medium-term expectations of the organization, key sustainability projects/programs and are they integrated with the business model.

The panelists include Chairman of Shell Gas Lanka Mahesha Ranasoma, CEO of Mobitel Suren Amerasekera and MD of Lanka IOC Suresh Kumar amongst others. The moderator for the session will be Director of the Post Graduate Institute of Management, Uditha Liyanage.
