FCCISL leads Lankan delegation for top China trade fair

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) is organizing a Sri Lankan Business delegation for the “Kunming Fair” and the “China South Asia Business Forum” to be held in China from June 5-10.

The Kunming Import and Export International Trade fair is one of the largest Trade Fairs in the World. The 5th China–South Asia Business Forum where top level businessmen of the two regions would meet eye to eye will be held concurrently in the same venue. More than 48 countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Papua Newginia, Russia, South Asian countries, and some European countries take part to exhibit and sell their products at the Kunming Fair, according to an FCCISL statement.

The apex chamber has signed a MOU with the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) who are the organizers of Kunming Fair and has gained many benefits that would be passed to the Sri Lankan business community. “Accordingly, the Sri Lankan Exhibitors will get free of charge, a fully fledged trade stall per company with electrical fittings, furniture fittings, name board, carpet etc.

Among other benefits offered are: Selling on the spot, Free Invitation for China-South Asia Business Forum on 5th June, Free invitation to magnificent Chinese Cultural Show, Free invitation to take part in China –South Asian Golf Tournament,” the statement added.

The chamber is arranging concessionary tour package for all participants. It includes return air ticket, hotel accommodation, free breakfast, visa fee and visa handling, airport transfers etc.
